THE BENEFITS OF CHAKKI ATTA
Chakki Atta (whole wheat) flour, made from whole wheat is packed with soluble and insoluble fiber, important for proper digestion, maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and improving beneficial gut bacteria. Atta flour contains a range of nutrients including B-vitamins, Iron and Manganese for energy production and zinc for the nervous and immune systems. The word ‘whole’ refers to the fact that the entire grain (bran, germ, endosperm) is used and nothing is lost in the making of the flour. Sihor whole wheat flour is mainly used for making chapatti, roti and paratha. Sihor flour chapatti appears more whitish in colour.It is also used for making bread, biscuits, cakes, pasta, noodles etc.
